Vermouth – Aromatic wine

To be enjoyed neat, with ice and a slice of orange, or as a dessert wine or a wine with which to mediate.

Ingredient: wine, sugar, grape must, alcohol, infusion of herbs, roots and spices

“The characteristic Vermouth of Turin is an aromatic wine, with a rather bitter flavour, relatively low alcohol content (15 to 17 percent alcohol by volume) and moderate residual sugar (4 to 6 degrees Beaumé). It must have a delicate and not very accentuated scent of aromatic herbs, a golden white, not very deep colour and a perfect clarity or brilliance.” Excerpt from “L’Enologia Piemontese” by A.
